Saturday - hundreds of Canada Geese rest on the lake, while several flocks come and join them. There must be at least 60-80 birds in each flock, and there are several of them coming in to land in this photo, to join their fellow geese in a raucously noisy honk fest.
Tawny ran down to the lake to "scare" the geese. All she managed to do was get wet. Of course, she compensated for that by carrying this huge log around for a bit. She could hardly pick it up, it was so big around.
Monday - October 8, 2007: Morden Centennial
Yes, there still are buds coming out on the roses!
We had a light rain since yesterday afternoon, and it looked so pretty on the roses. (This is a Morden Centennial rose bloom.)
