Not surprisingly, the leaves are falling off the trees and the colours are starting to lose their intensity. It is October, after all!
It started raining this morning, so it was a good thing I did that burning yesterday otherwise all the paper and wood would have just got soaked. As the faithful reader will already know, I wasn't feeling at the top of my form yesterday so I had left the shovel (in case I needed to shovel some dirt on the fire), crowbar (in case I needed to push a piece of wood back into the fire), and gloves (to handle the tools, etc).
Thankfully, I am starting to feel better today.
